In India, the film has sold nearly 2 lakh tickets across national cinema chains, according to Pinkvilla. Of these, over 1.75 lakh tickets are for the Hindi version, including close to 90,000 tickets for the opening day.
The addition of Kannada and Telugu versions takes the combined tally to nearly 2 lakh tickets. Advance sales have also opened at other chains and select single-screen theatres.
According to Sacnilk, India’s opening-day advance bookings have contributed more than $1.20 million to the worldwide total. Overseas markets have added over $400,000 in advance sales for November 5, while North American paid previews on November 4 have generated more than $550,000.
