The revenge is almost ready to be served. Filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar: The Revenge, one of the most anticipated Indian films in recent times, will unveil its trailer on Tuesday, March 3. Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film is gearing up for a massive global release on March 19.

The makers are ready with an edgy cut of the trailer for the sequel to the 2025 blockbuster Dhurandhar, which shattered box-office records to emerge as the highest-grossing single-language film of all time, grossing over ₹1,300 crore globally.

The sequel continues the journey of Indian intelligence agent Hamza Ali Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, who operates undercover in Karachi, infiltrating criminal syndicates and political power structures to dismantle a terror network threatening India.

While the trailer launch is locked for Tuesday, there has been trade speculation around the film’s runtime. Sources suggest that Dhurandhar: The Revenge could run 3 hours and 55 minutes — around 10 minutes longer than the first instalment — though there is no official confirmation yet.

Produced by Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar, the film is set for a grand release on March 19, coinciding with Eid, Gudi Padwa and Ugadi. It will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam and is expected to shatter all opening day records in India.

At the box-office, it will clash with Yash’s Toxic, which is also scheduled to arrive on the same date. Toxic began its full-fledged promotional campaign last week and is set to drop its first song featuring Kiara Advani. The film marks the return of Yash on the big screen after his blockbuster KGF franchise and also stars Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria among others.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar: The Revenge also features Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
