Gulshan Devaiah is following up his well loved Kantara performance with another high-profile South project. The actor, who made his Kannada debut as Prince Kulashekara in Rishab Shetty's Kantara: Chapter 1, is now venturing into Telugu cinema with Maa Inti Bangaram, an upcoming film starring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and under her home banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.
Maa Inti Bangaram is directed by Nandini Reddy and co-produced by Raj Nidimoru and Himank Duvvuru. Devaiah said he was looking to collaborate with Samantha, one of the leading female stars in Telugu cinema. “I’ve been waiting for a good opportunity to do something with Samantha and MIB came in at the right time it seems. I’m currently neck deep in preparation for MIB. I don’t want to say anything about my part or the film but it’s a pretty challenging part to play and I’m hoping I will put in the necessary effort & won’t mess it up. Let’s see," the actor stated.
Not much is known about the plot or story of Maa Inti Bangaram. According to some reports, the film is a socio-fantasy thriller with a 'divine connect'. Samantha had previously collaborated with Nandini Reddy on the well-likedOh! Baby, a fantasy comedy about a septuagenarian who finds herself magically turned into her 24-year-old self.
Gulshan Devaiah won plaudits for his performance as the evil crown prince in Kantara: Chapter 1. More recently, the actor turned up in the web series Perfect Family.
Meanwhile, Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidimoru recently got married in an intimate ceremony in Coimbatore.
