

Ace production banner Hombale Films is set to release the Telugu version of spiritual drama Hanuman Ansh on October 9, following its stint as the film’s overseas distributor.
The production house behind pan-India hits like KGF and Kantara announced the Telugu release of Hanuman Ansh on Instagram, on social media, writing: “We are delighted to bring the much loved #HanumanAnsh in TELUGU, for audiences to witness its divine brilliance on the big screen across the world.” The also shared a brand new Telugu poster for the film.
The surprise hit of the year, Hanuman Ansh continued its strong box-office showing on its 59th day, earning ₹3 crore on Sunday (October 4). The Vishal Chaturvedi-directed film has now taken its worldwide gross to ₹423.26 crore.
Written and directed by Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh follows Lakshmi Narayan, a young man who embarks on a spiritual journey after the death of his mother and eventually becomes revered as Neem Karoli Baba. The film stars actor Shobhinaw Satyaa in the lead, alongside Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.
Hombale Films is one of the leading production houses in the Kannada film industry. The banner has backed commercially successful films including KGF: Chapter 1, KGF: Chapter 2, Kantara and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. It has also expanded its slate beyond Kannada cinema, producing films across multiple Indian languages and industries. Their forthcoming slate includes an ambitious pan-India project starring Hrithik Roshan and another film with Tamil superstar Suriya.
For Hanuman Ansh, Hombale Films has taken charge of its international distribution through its overseas arm, Hombale Overseas. The film was released worldwide on September 11, with the studio describing it as “a story rooted in faith” and “a journey beyond borders.” The release date was significant as it marked the 53rd anniversary of Neem Karoli Baba’s mahasamadhi. Chaturvedi, meanwhile, has already announced his next film, RamBola, a biopic on the life and legacy of poet-saint Goswami Tulsidas.
