The film is directed by Jeethu Joseph
Jeethu Joseph's upcoming directorial, starring Joju George and Biju Menon, has been officially launched. Titled Valathu Vashathe Kallan, the Malayalam film went on floors with a ceremony in Kochi on Monday.

August Cinema, Bedtime Stories, and Cineholix jointly produce the film, which co-stars Lena, Irshad Ali, Gokul, and Shaju Sreedhar. Its technical team includes cinematographer Satheesh Kurup, editor Vinayak VS and music director Vishnu Shyam.
Joseph, who is popularly known for his Drishyam series with Mohanlal, will next be working on the third instalment of the film, which was confirmed in an announcement in February. The first part of Drishyam, which was released in 2013, chronicled the struggle of Georgekutty and his family, who come under suspicion when the son of an Inspector-General of police goes missing.
Apart from Mohanlal, the movie featured Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Roshan Basheer and Neeraj Madhav. The primary cast of the film returned for its sequel Drishyam 2 in 2021, which was released on Prime Video due to the pandemic. Biju Menon, on the other hand, will next be seen in Sivakarthikeyan and AR Murugadoss' Madharasi, and Joju George will feature in Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's Thug Life, which is headed for a June 5 release.
