After a three-year wait and a cliffhanger that stunned viewers, Manoj Bajpayee confirms Srikant Tiwari’s story will continue in The Family Man Season 4.
The Family Man Season 3 arrived on Prime Video after a three-year wait, and fans wasted no time binge-watching it. But the excitement quickly turned into disbelief when the season closed on a cliffhanger, leaving several threads unresolved. Viewers took to social media asking whether more episodes were coming. The answer finally came from Manoj Bajpayee himself.
Responding to a fan on X who asked if Season 3 was incomplete, Bajpayee wrote, “Sabka jawab 4th season me hoga! Jaldi milte hain (Everything will be answered in season four. See you soon)!"
Season 3 places Bajpayee's Srikant Tiwari in one of his most challenging chapters yet. With new antagonists played by Jaideep Ahlawat (Rukma) and Nimrat Kaur (Meera), Srikant is forced out of his familiar terrain and into situations where both national and personal stakes collide. The show also features its returning cast, including actors Sharib Hashmi, Priyamani, Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Gul Panag..
Ahead of the release, Bajpayee spoke about the process of returning to this character after long gaps. He shared that at the start of every season, he takes time on set with creators Raj & DK to get back to Srikant’s beat, calling the initial days “a struggle” until he reconnects with the character’s rhythm.
While the previous two seasons of The Family Man tackled terrorism and national security, talking about Pakistan, Kashmir and Sri Lanka, the latest season chronicles a part of the Northeast India conflict.
During a previous interaction with THR India, DK, who has co-written the third season with Raj, Suman Kumar, Sumit Arora and Sudhish Kamath, said one has to be "very, very careful when talking about Indo-China relations and not sensationalise it."
"Suman, our lead writer, is quite knowledgeable and clued in about the subject matter. We want to be authentic and address it as accurately as possible in the ongoing situation. But the plot that we have built on top of it is pure fiction," he had noted.
