'Maremma': Maadhav's Debut Film Locks September Release

Maremma, the debut film of Maadhav Bhupathiraju — son of actor Raghu and nephew of Telugu star Ravi Teja — has confirmed a worldwide theatrical release on September 10, 2026. The announcement was made on July 22 through a release date poster.

The poster for the Telugu film shows Maadhav in the backdrop in a fierce, bloodied and battle-worn look. Against this backdrop is the imagery of the protagonist facing off against a sacred cow, hinting at a folklore-inspired storyline for the film.

The actor shared the announcement poster on X on July 22, writing, "The wait is over.Maremma arrives on September 10th. This film means the world to me, and I can't wait for you to experience it. See you in theatres on September 10."

Deepa Balu plays the film’s female lead, with V.S. Rupa Lakshmi, Vinod Kumar, Vikas Vasishta and Dayanand Reddy in supporting roles.

The film's music is composed by Prashanth R. Vihari, cinematography is by Prasanth Ankireddy, editing is by Dev Rathod and art direction is by Rajkumar Murugesan. Action sequences are choreographed by Madigonda Natraj. Umesh Vilaasagaram serves as executive producer.
