Nani To Present 'Alias Rukmini' Starring Nithiin

In a fascinating title reveal of actor Nithiin’s next Telugu film Alias Rukmini, we listen in on a conversation between actor Nani and Nithiin. In what looks like the setting of a pulp novelist’s study, both actors can be seen discussing the nature of the novels written by Nithiin’s character. At first, we see glimpses of a love story taking place between a newly married couple. Second is that of a same-sex love story, and in the third, we see a shot of a wife married to a staunch husband. These novels seem to be the bread and butter for this writer, and his pen name “Rukmini” is hinted at being the real name of his wife. The two-minute title reveal video ends with Nithiin wearing a pair of glasses, with him staring straight towards the camera. 

Alias Rukmini is written and directed by Murali Kanth Devasoth, and it is produced by Deepthi Ganta. Nani will present the film. It is shot by Jomon T John and has music by Vijai Bulganin. 

Recent updates around Nani indicate a busy slate ahead. In addition to Bloody Romeo, the actor is headlining The Paradise, directed by Srikanth Odela, which is positioned as a major upcoming release in his lineup. Bloody Romeo, written and directed by Sujeeth, is scheduled to begin principal photography in the summer. Sujeeth’s previous directorial outing was They Call Him OG, a Mumbai-set gangster action film headlined by Pawan Kalyan. Further casting and production details for Bloody Romeo have not yet been announced.

As for Nithiin, he also has two other films lined up along with Alias Rukmini. Apart from a film with Sithara Entertainment, he could also be seen in a film to be directed by Anji. His last release was Thammudu and Robin Hood, both 2025 releases.
