Actor Hrithik Roshan is set to roll out his debut production with a new Prime Video show headlined by actor Parvathy Thiruvothu. According to reports, the yet-untitled thriller series also stars Alaya F, Srishti Srivastava, Rama Sharma and Saba Azad.
Roshan will back his maiden production under his banner HRX Films. The new show will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Ajit Pal Singh, best known for his critically acclaimed series Tabbar, reported Bollywood Hungama.
The publication quoted a source as saying that the series has been in development for the past three years, with Roshan personally looking into and working meticulously on its "layered script and characters."
Thiruvothu, known for her performances in Bangalore Days (2014), Take Off (2017), Uyare (2019) and Ullozhukku (2024), is said to be playing a "complex character" on the show billed as a sharp, character-driven social thriller that "examines power, morality, and survival through the lens of modern India."
"It’s an intense, thought-provoking thriller that looks at the intersections of power, conscience, and consequence. While Parvathy, along with Alaya, Srishti, Rama, and Saba bring contrasting energies that elevate the ensemble," the source was quoted. The project is currently in advanced stages of pre-production, with filming expected to commence before the end of 2025.
Thiruvothu had a packed last year with films like Ullozhukku, Thangalaan and Her, while Azad was recently seen in the Prime Video film Songs of Paradise. The actor will next be seen in Anurag Kashyap's Bandar. The crime drama led by Bobby Deol had its world premiere in the Special Presentations section of the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival.
Roshan, meanwhile, was last seen in War 2. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film also starred Jr NTR and was a box-office disappointment upon its release in August. Presently, Roshan is attached to star in a Hombale project and lead the next installment of the superhero franchise Krrish.
