Rana Naidu is back, and this time to wrap up some unfinished business with this season's baddie, Arjun Rampal. The trailer of Rana Naidu Season 2 was released by Netflix this week, giving us a glimpse of the fixer-upper trying to navigate personal and professional problems.

Rana Naidu (Rana Daggubati) promises his wife Naina (Surveen Chawla) that he has left his old ways. But as the trailer progresses, we find out how much truth his words hold. His devilish father, Naga (Daggubati Venkatesh), is back too, as the Naidu family comes together to resolve some issues. But Rana's biggest problem, however, is with Arjun Rampal. "Today onwards, every storm in your life will be caused by me," Rampal's character says, before going on to bash him with a cricket bat.

Meanwhile, in an interview with India Today, Rana Daggubati spoke about the ongoing language row in Karnataka, which has resulted in the ban of Kamal Haasan's Thug Life in the state. “Social media has become a place to make an opinion. Earlier, you didn’t have that. Anything gets touchy and political quite quickly,” he said in the interview. “If the media and the news, and people become smarter (and understand) that actors are not the ones to advocate for the way society lives, it will be a better place,” he said. “I think you should look at scholars, politicians and learned men and women to lead the way into society.”
