Rukmini Vasanth To Debut In Malayalam Cinema With New Nivin Pauly Film

Rukmini Vasanth, who will next be seen in Yash’s Toxic, is making her debut in Malayalam cinema with Nivin Pauly's next. Malayalam superstar Pauly has started shooting for what could be his 51st film. In Kochi, on Sunday, the production work on the film was launched with a switch-on ceremony. The as-yet untitled film is produced by Martin Prakkat under the banner of Martin Prakkat Films, Nivin Pauly under Pauly Jr. Pictures, and Siby Chavara and Ranjith Nair under Green Room Productions. The director of the film is Nashid Famy, a writer who has worked on the Vipin Das-directed superhit comedy Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey

Rukmini Vasanth also starred in pan-Indian blockbusters such as Kantara: Chapter 1. The press statement added that Nivin Pauly regular, Aju Varghese, will also be seen in a full-length role this time. The rest of the cast features Jagadish, Kalaranjini and Ashokan.

The film's technical crew includes cinematography by Bablu Aju, editing by Kannan Mohan and music by Electronic Kili, with Nidhin Nagesh credited as a co-writer.

Nivin Pauly’s next release is Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, set to arrive in theatres on August 21 during the festive Onam season. The film is directed by Premalu’s Gireesh AD with Mamitha Baiju playing an important character.

Pauly was last seen in the political thriller Prathi Chaya, Baby Girl and the hit horror comedy Sarvam Maya. Beyond Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, he has a series of interesting projects, including the Tamil film Benz. Pauly recently revealed he has finished his portion in the Raghava Lawrence action thriller. The actor is said to be playing the villain in the film, which is a part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Lokesh Cinematic Universe, or LCU. The filmmaker had earlier shared some photos from the set of the film, in which Nivin is playing the character Twin Fish Walter. Raghava Lawrence takes the titular character of Benz, and actor Samyuktha is also part of the cast.
