Bollywood movie giant Yash Raj Films on Wednesday announced the release date of its upcoming feature, Saiyaara. Billed as an intense love story, the film is directed by Mohit Suri, who has helmed several films in the genre.
Saiyaara will introduce two new faces in the Hindi film industry: Ahaan Panday, cousin of actor Ananya Panday, and Aneet Padda, known for Big Girls Don't Cry and Salaam Venky.
Saiyaara will hit the big screens on July 18. Yash Raj Films took to Instagram and shared the announcement, writing, "Theirs is a love story like no other… 🎶❤️💫"
Presented by Aditya Chopra and produced by the company’s CEO, Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara will be the first collaboration between YRF and Suri, who has mounted films like Woh Lamhe (2006) Awarapan (2007) and Aashiqui 2 (2013).
Ahaan is the son of Deanne Pandey and Chikki Panday. His sister is Alanna Panday, who shared the post on her story and wrote, "Waited so long for this day." Ahaan also got a shoutout from Ananya, who wrote, "Welcome to the movies my brother."
