'Sarvam Maya': Nivin Pauly's Next With Akhil Sathyan; Preity Mukundhan Plays Female Lead

Nivin Pauly's next film got a title and a first look on Tuesday. Titled Sarvam Maya, the film has been directed by Akhil Sathyan (of Paachuvum Albhuthavilakkum fame). Pauly posted the film's poster on X. "The Ghost next door! Sarvam Maya 2025 Christmas Release," the actor wrote.

The film, which also stars actress Preity Mukundhan, will be filmed by Sharan Velayudhan and produced by Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon under the Firefly Films production banner. Sarvam Maya also co-stars Aju Varghese, Althaf Salim, and Janardhanan in important roles.

On the work front, Pauly has several projects lined up, including Multiverse Manmadhan, a superhero film; Thamar KV's Dolby Dineshan, Baby Girl directed by Arun Varma (The film also stars Lijomol Jose and Premalu’s Sangeeth Prathap, and is produced by Listin Stephen under Magic Frames), Dear Students, alongside Nayanthara, Shekhara Varma Rajavu, and the sequel, Action Hero Biju 2. Among his Tamil work, the actor has Ram's Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, and Benz, directed by Remo filmmaker Bakkiyaraj Kannan.

Benz marks the fourth film in the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU), following Kaithi, Vikram, and Leo. While Kanagaraj is not directing this instalment, he remains creatively involved, co-writing and co-producing the film under his G Squad banner.

Fuelled by slick first-look posters and a cryptic social media teaser — “You are ‘N’ot ready for this” — anticipation over the film’s villain has reached fever pitch. The makers released a character promo for Nivin's role, an antagonist, titled Walter, in the film. The female lead is played by Vaathi actor Samyuktha, while composer Sai Abhyankkar, known for AA22, is onboard for his debut feature score.

Preity Mukundhan was last seen in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa, a Telugu pan-Indian film which retold the legend of the Shiva devotee. The film co-starred Prabhas, Mohanlal, Sarath Kumar, Mohan Babu, and Akshay Kumar.
