'The Raja Saab': Prabhas Wraps Up His Portions In The Film

Telugu superstar Prabhas has wrapped up the filming of his upcoming film The Raja Saab. Maruthi, the director of the film, made this announcement on X, also noting an interesting trivia point about the actor's time in cinema.

"23 years back he took his first step into cinema. Today he wraps his journey in #TheRajaSaab on the same day Blessed and fortunate to be part of his victorious journey… Super sure The Raja Saab will be a completely different energy altogether We know the love and impatience — and we promise to deliver nothing but the absolute best….More celebrating days ahead for our Rebel God Devotees," Maruthi wrote on X.

The makers of the film recently clarified that The Raja Saab will be released without delay. Addressing rumours of a delay, TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory put out a statement. "In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus, The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless. The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026, as officially announced," the note read.

Backed by People Media Factory, The Raja Saab is produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad. The Raja Saab has cinematography by Karthik Palani and music by Thaman S. Its cast includes Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Ridhi Kumar. The film is also touted to mark Prabhas' first horror title, and will be released in December in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Prabhas will next be seen in Vishnu Manchu's Kannappa and Sandeep Vanga Reddy's Spirit.
