Vijay Sethupathi’s next release after Train is expected to be a web series directed by acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Manikandan. A poster for the series was recently circulated on social media. Titled Muthu Engira Kaatan, the show will reportedly be out on JioHotstar.  Manikandan, who rose to fame for his National Film Award-winning film Kaaka Muttai (2014), last directed the acclaimed Kadaisi Vivasaayi (2022), also featuring Vijay Sethupathi in a special role. This project would mark Manikandan's third collaboration with Sethupathi, after Aandavan Kattalai (2016) and the National Film Award-winning Kadaisi Vivasaayi (2022).

As for his Telugu film, we last reported that Tabu has joined the cast of filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s latest pan-India feature, which stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The project, announced during Ugadi, is being billed as the director’s most ambitious film to date.

As for Mysskin, he is also completing his work on Pisasu 2, starring Andeah Jeremiah.
