The makers of Pawan Kalyan's Ustaad Bhagat Singh have wrapped up its filming. The film's director, Harish Shankar, announced the news on X recently, along with a picture of Pawan Kalyan with the cast and crew on set.
"Smiles, hugs, and laughter all around… nothing beats the happiness of a team that poured its heart into a film and crossed the finish line together with … One and only our beloved @PawanKalyan," the filmmaker captioned the picture. The producers of the film, Mythri Movie Makers, recently commemorated Pawan's birthday, with a new poster from the film.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh, which co-stars Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela, was initially announced to be a remake of Atlee and Vijay's Tamil cop actioner Theri. The 2016 film followed the life of Joseph Kuruvilla, a bakery owner with a young daughter, who is forced to revisit his tough past. But according to reports, the writer-director has now revived the script, and the film will not be a remake.
Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in OG, which is headed for a September 25 release. The film is being directed and written by Sujeeth, who directed Prabhas’ Saaho. Apart from the leads, the film features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy and Prakash Raj. It is produced by DVV Entertainment, and the cinematographers are Ravi K Chandran (ISC) and Manoj Paramahamsa (ISC), with AS Prakash as production designer and Navin Nooli as the editor.
A glimpse from the film was recently released to mark the actor's birthday. The original title of the film is ‘The Call Him OG’, and it is among the most anticipated films of the year. The teaser shows Emraan Hashmi on a yacht displaying his look before unleashing his fury. It then shows Pawan Kalyan holding a Japanese sword as blood splatters all over. The short video has already amassed close to five million views in under 20 hours. The background score by Thaman is also exciting, suiting the period look of the film.
