Alia Bhatt made her much-anticipated debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2025 in style. The actor, in her maiden appearance on the celebrated red carpet, wore a long off-shoulder bustier gown by Schiaparelli.
Crafted in ecru Chantilly lace and intricately embroidered with organza and enamel flowers, the ivory-nude mermaid gown—with her hair styled in a sleek bun—is the look Bhatt chose as she attended the film premiere of The Mastermind. She was styled by Rhea Kapoor.
Bhatt is at Cannes as part of her association with L’Oréal Paris, of which she is the newest Global Brand Ambassador.
The actor was earlier supposed to attend the opening of the Cannes Film Festival and walk the red carpet on May 13. Bhatt changed her plans following the Pahalgam attack and the rising geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan.
Other celebrities who have been at Cannes this year include Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Janhvi Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ishaan Khatter, Vishal Jethwa and Nitanshi Goel, among others.
On the film front, Bhatt will be seen in Yash Raj Films' spy-universe film Alpha, set to release in December this year.
