Creator-turned-actor Bhuvan Bam has begun shooting for Dhindora 2, the returning season of his 2021 comedy-drama series, immediately after completing schedules for his upcoming theatrical film Kuku Ki Kundali.

The second season of Dhindora, which was officially announced as part of Netflix's streaming slate for 2026, is among the most anticipated creator-led projects in India, with expectations of a bigger scale and wider reach. A source close to the production reveals, “Bhuvan has been working non-stop. He wrapped Kuku Ki Kundali and, within three days, moved into Dhindora 2. The idea is to maintain momentum because the scale this time is much bigger, both creatively and in terms of reach.”

The shoot for Dhindora 2 has kicked off in Punjab, with subsequent schedules planned across New Delhi and Mumbai. The second season will have a significantly expanded production compared to its first season, which became a massive digital success driven by Bam’s multi-character storytelling. Coming immediately after wrapping Kuku Ki Kundali, a film that pairs him with Wamiqa Gabbi, the transition highlights a crucial phase in Bam's career. The new season is expected to retain the chaos and relatability of the original while pushing the narrative into more layered territory.

Adapted from Sanjeev Sanyal’s non-fiction book Revolutionaries: The Other Story of How India Won Its Freedom, the series highlights stories of young patriots who took up arms against British rule. Bam was joined in the cast by Rohit Saraf, Pratibha Ranta, Gurfateh Pirzada and Jason Shah.
