'NBK 111': Manoj Manchu Joins Nandamuri Balakrishna's Upcoming Film

Telugu actor Manoj Manchu has joined Nandamuri Balakrishna's upcoming 111th film. The yet-to-be-titled production, which goes by NBK 111, is directed by Gopichand Malineni. Manchu recently announced the news on X.

"Some birthdays come as blessings. And this birthday has brought me one of the most special gifts I could have asked for… And finally… it’s happening A long awaited combination with our Lion NBK Ballaya anna, under the direction of Gopichand Malineni Garu," Manchu wrote on X.

He added, "A moment that makes this birthday all the more memorable and deeply personal for me. Among everything that lies ahead, this project will always remain especially close to my heart because of the bond and respect I share with both my Balayya anna and Gopichand Garu. Thank you all for the love and beautiful wishes Among the exciting lineup ahead, one promise to all the fans, this time is going to be a solid treat on screen, and truly worth the wait. The excitement is real. And I can’t wait to bring this special journey to all of you (sic)."

It was reported last year that Nayanthara had joined the film. The film's director, Gopichandh Malineni, announced X on November 18, marking the actress's birthday. "Here she comes… Welcoming the one and only Queen #Nayanthara garu into the world of #NBK111 Honoured to have her power and grace in our story. Wishing you a wonderful Birthday. Excited to see you on set soon," he wrote.

The film will reunite Nandamuri Balakrishna with Malineni after their outing in Veera Simha Reddy (2023), which co-starred Shruti Haasan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Balakrishna in a double role. Meanwhile, Nayanthara has worked with Balakrishna on films including Simha (2010), Sri Rama Rajyam (2011), and Jai Simha (2018).

Manoj Manchu was last seen in Teja Sajja's Mirai as the primary antagonist.
