'Pallaburusu' Teaser: A Middle-Aged Father-Son Duo In This Comedy Of Errors

In the teaser of the upcoming Telugu film Pallaburusu, Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud play a father-son duo navigating the everyday mundanities of rural life. Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya launched the film's teaser on X.

Popular Telugu film banner Annapurna Studios recently announced the film. The upcoming Telugu comedy will be produced by the banner in a joint venture with EPIC Studios, and will be released on August 14.

The quirky, rooted Telugu film is said to blend comedy and drama. The film's first-look poster featured the two lead characters seated back-to-back on a giant toothbrush resembling a balancing scale, with a district courtroom in the background. The film is written and directed by Uday Chauhan, who has produced Telugu series such as Miss Perfect (2024) and Harikatha (2024). The film will be presented and produced jointly by Annapurna Studios and EPIC Studios. Aditya Pittie and Vivek Krishnani serve as producers for EPIC Studios.

Pallaburusu will also feature Prajwal Yadma and Gomathy Reddy in key roles. The film features cinematography by Vinod K Bangari, music composed by Pawan CH, and production design by Kshitij Jeevan Randhir.

The film reunites Sudhakar Reddy and Muralidhar Goud following their outing in the hit 2023 slice-of-life film Balagam, which co-starred Priyadarshi and Kavya Kalyanram. Goud was last seen in Ravi Teja's Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi, while Reddy was featured in the acclaimed independent film Muthayya.
