Created by Raj & DK, the third season introduces Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur as Srikant’s new adversaries
It's finally happened: The Family Man Season 3 has a release date. Following a four-year hiatus, the much-awaited third season of the Manoj Bajpayee-led spy series will stream on Prime Video from November 21, 2025.
The makers announced the premiere date with a funny video asset, featuring Bajpayee as superspy Srikant Tiwari (alaap-ing vigorously) and Priyamani as his worldly-wise wife Suchitra. Written by Raj & DK along with Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora, the returning season is directed by Raj & DK, with Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth joining as co-directors.
Reportedly set in the North East, The Family Man Season 3 marks the return of Srikant, the elite undercover spy navigating the balance between duty and family life. The new season introduces Jaideep Ahlawat as Rukma and Nimrat Kaur as Meera, Srikant’s formidable new adversaries. Returning cast members include Sharib Hashmi as fan-favourite sidekick JK as well as Ashlesha Thakur, Vedant Sinha, Shreya Dhanwanthary, and Gul Panag.
“The Family Man has redefined long-format storytelling, becoming part of everyday conversations, social discourse, and the broader cultural zeitgeist,” said Nikhil Madhok, Director & Head of Originals, Prime Video, India. “The upcoming season promises an even more thrilling ride, with its signature blend of humour and action backed by stellar performances.”
Creators Raj & DK spoke about the long road to the new season. “We wanted to ensure the wait was worth it—raising the stakes this season with even more high-octane action, a gripping narrative, riveting performances, and an elevated, edge-of-the-seat experience. This season, the hunter becomes the hunted, as Srikant faces a threat unlike any before," they said.
The Family Man Season 1 premiered in 2019, becoming one of India’s most popular streaming shows. Its second season, released in 2021, introduced Samantha Ruth Prabhu as antagonist Raji and focused on conflict-torn Sri Lanka. Both seasons were received positively by fans and critics.
