Released over the weekend, Saiyaara posted an opening of ₹83 crore across its first three days, positioning it as one of the year’s strongest box office debuts. The film has since continued to draw audiences on weekdays which is often a key indicator of word-of-mouth appeal and sustained interest. The real test of its growing appeal will be to keep a close eye on how much money Saiyaara is able to rake in during its second weekend.

Starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, the film marks the on-screen debut of both actors. Set against an emotional and intense backdrop, Saiyaara has drawn attention for its blend of melodrama, romance, and high-stakes storytelling, in line with Suri’s signature directorial style.

The film now shares company with some of the year’s biggest releases. Leading the 2025 domestic box office is Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, a historical epic that has amassed ₹601 crore. Other high-grossers include Housefull 5 (₹183 crore), Raid 2 (₹173 crore), and Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, which has earned ₹163 crore and is seen by many as a spiritual successor to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par.

With no major releases expected to compete in the coming week, Saiyaara appears well-positioned to cross the ₹150 crore mark before the end of its second weekend.
