Samantha Ruth Prabhu Marries Raj Nidimoru in Private Ceremony in Coimbatore
The actor and 'The Family Man' co-creator tied the knot at the Ling Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore on Monday morning, with around 30 guests in attendance.
Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, best known as one half of the directing–producing duo Raj & DK, have tied the knot, bringing an end to months of speculation around their relationship. The ceremony, held early Monday morning at the Ling Bhairavi Temple within the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, was attended by just 30 guests. The couple choose a deliberately low-profile celebration far from the usual celebrity wedding choreography.

Rumours about the pair had been circulating since early 2024, when the two were spotted together outside professional settings with increasing frequency. Prabhu had also taken to posting photographs with Nidimoru on her social media accounts, which only fuelled speculation about their status.
Prabhu and Nidimoru first worked together on the second season of The Family Man, released in 2021, in which the actor’s performance was widely praised. Their collaboration continued on Citadel: Honey Bunny, the Indian segment of the global espionage franchise, and more recently on Prabhu’s debut production, Subham.
Both have navigated public scrutiny around their private lives before. Prabhu was previously married to actor Naga Chaitanya, with the couple announcing their separation in 2021 after four years of marriage. Chaitanya later married actor Sobhita Dhulipala. Meanwhile, Nidimoru was previously married to Shhyamali De, and the couple reportedly parted ways in 2022.
For now, the newly married couple appear to have chosen discretion over spectacle, opting for a setting that prioritised ritual over fanfare. With neither issuing a formal statement yet, it seems they are content to let the news travel at its own pace.
On the professional front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently began filming her upcoming feature Maa Inti Bangaram. The film reunites the star with director Nandini Reddy after their 2029 hit Oh! Baby. The upcoming Telugu feature is produced by Samantha, Himank Duvvuru and Raj Nidimoru.
